Program Description
It is a promotional program sponsored by RedHill that is designed to educate and inform HCPs and/or Patients about the benefits, risks, and appropriate uses of Movantik, as well as topics that support the day-to-day care of Patients. It will provide information on Movantik , Opioid Induced Constipation for which the product is indicated, or other appropriate healthcare topics to a group of appropriate attendees.
Since it is regulated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Both the FD&C Act and the Anti-Kickback Statute apply to the arrangements involved with speaker programs. Thus, speakers as agents of RedHill are subject to the FDA rules and regulations with respect to promoting products consistent with labeling and other requirements. The speaker, Dr Anjuli Desai, may respond to an off-label question only in accordance with the RedHill Speaker Policy, and only if the question is unsolicited or unprompted. RedHill does not engage speakers to influence their prescribing decisions. All speaking fees will be recorded and reported per the federal and state reporting requirements.
Under FDA laws, regulations and guidance, Speaker Programs and any other marketing activities that promote our products must present information consistent with RedHill’s approved product labeling. Dr Desai cannot promote a marketed product for off-label use or promote a product before it has been approved by the FDA.
