Sexual pain, or dyspareunia is estimated to affect over one-fifth of women worldwide, and can often be found along with interstitial cystitis, irritable bowel syndrome and/or sexual abuse. Yet despite the negative impact on women's lives, the condition is often unrecognized, undiagnosed, and untreated.
