Interprofessional Education in Pain Management

In clinical practice today, more often than not patients receive care from an interprofessional team. How can we best prepare students and practitioners to optimize working in an interprofessional environment? This presentation will review the definition of interprofessional education, what is meant and NOT meant by this definition, what evidence supports IPE practice and education, and proposed competencies. Strategies useful for developing and implementing an interprofessional education program will be reviewed, using a hands-on, interprofessional approach! (Recorded at PAINWeek 2016)
