Program Description
Learn a different way to treat painful diabetic peripheral neuropathy of the feet. Feel confident identifying eligible patients, adding another option to your therapeutic toolkit, and administering a non-systemic, non-opioid, localized treatment that can provide up to 3 months of sustained pain relief. This session will provide a brief overview of the efficacy and safety of the high-concentration capsaicin (8%) topical system based on Phase III study results. The panelists will give insights into the implementation of the high-concentration capsaicin (8%) topical system into clinical practice as well as discuss and address operational challenges, logistics, predictors of response, expectations and patient reported outcomes.
